This past weekend, 4/8/2017 NutraBio had two of their UFC Athletes in the cage at UFC210, Buffalo, NY.
Shane “Hurricane” Burgos went into the cage this past weekend with one mission; to finish his opponent. Burgos dropped Charles Rosa and won third round by TKO, staying undefeated. A HUGE congrats to both fighters as they received the Fight of the Night award.
An Article from MMAJunkie.com recaps the fight,
“For two-and-a-half rounds, Shane Burgos endured Charles Rosa’s volume approach to striking and tried to answer with sheer power.
That strategy finally paid off in the third as Burgos (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) dropped a weary Rosa (11-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with a counter left hook, then continued pouring on the punishment even as Rosa kept bouncing back to his feet, forcing referee Todd Anderson to call it off at the 1:59 mark of Round 3.”

Katlyn “Blonde fighter” Chookagian wins the fight against Irene Aldana by a very close split-decision. Chookagian stated that she focused more on her karate kicks and wrestling takedowns to prepare for this fight. Her kick game was strong and absolutely showcased the technique she has been working on.
An Article from MMAJunkie.com recaps the fight,
“Katlyn Chookagian couldn’t get Irene Aldana to the mat, and struggled to stop her high-pressure striking attack from advancing from one end of the cage to the other. But with a diverse array of kicks and gritty brawling in close, Chookagian (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) did just enough to outpoint Aldana (7-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in their closely contested tilt, earning a split-decision victory with marks of 28-29, 29-28, and 29-28.
While Chookagian continued to struggle with takedown attempts in the final round, she stayed in Aldana’s face and made a scrap of it until the very end. That proved to be just enough to convince two of the three judges to give her the win.”
