"The Lone Wolf" Shines in His UFC Return

NutraBio athlete and MMA fighter, Mike "The Lone Wolf" Trizano made a statement in his return to the UFC octagon as he earned a victory against Ludovit Klein. Mike fought for the first time in almost two years at "UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez vs. Waterson" on May 8th. Mike faced fellow featherweight prospect Ludovit Klein, who is known as an explosive fighter and received exposure in his UFC debut by knocking out his opponent in under two minutes. Many believed Ludovit was the favorite for this fight because has finished his opponents in 16 out of his 17 victories.

Pre-Fight "Tale of the Tape" for Klein vs. Trizano

Both fighters showed their game plans early on in the fight. Mike was calm and efficient when he threw his shots, while Ludovit was light on his feet and looked to land power shots. Both fighters gauge their distance to land punches and kicks in the first two rounds. Mike pushed the pace in as Ludovit continued to move around the cage to keep his distance against Mike who is the taller fighter. Ludovit was able to land a takedown at the end of both rounds, however, he was not able to capitalize as Mike threw punches from the bottom which neutralized any advantage Ludovit gained.

The first and second rounds were extremely close, and Mike understood he will need to have a strong third round to ensure the victory. The third round started with fireworks as both fighters threw big punches. Mike was able to land a power shot during an exchange that buckled Ludovit, and Mike gained the advantage. Watch below.

Mike begins the 3rd Round with a bang!

Mike carried the momentum through the last round by landing strong combinations and techniques that continued to push Ludovit back. Mike was able to apply a guillotine choke towards the end of the fight. Even though the choke had a lot of pressure, Ludovit didn't submit and the fight ended with the final bell. The fight went to the judges' scorecard for the decision, and all three judges scored Mike Trizano as the winner.
