This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, logistics, distributor management, and customer support while working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and supply chain teams.

Position Summary

The Channel Operations & Sales Support Manager will serve as the primary link between customers, distributors, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution of orders and programs across C-Store, Grocery, FDM, Drug, and Mass channels.

This is not a direct sales position. Instead, the role focuses on supporting growth by ensuring excellent execution, maintaining customer satisfaction, coordinating logistics, and helping manage the complexity that comes with large-scale retail expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Customer Support

  • Process and monitor customer purchase orders from receipt through delivery.
  • Coordinate with key retail accounts and distributor partners to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and shipping issues.
  • Support customer onboarding and item setup requirements.
  • Manage retailer and distributor documentation, forms, and requirements.

Distributor & Channel Support

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for distributor partners.
  • Coordinate with national and regional distributors to maintain inventory availability.
  • Assist with new item launches, promotional programs, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Track and monitor inventory positions and replenishment needs.
  • Maintain pricing files, customer programs, and product information.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Work closely with third-party warehouses, carriers, and freight providers.
  • Coordinate LTL, FTL, parcel, and distributor shipments.
  • Monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and delivery metrics.
  • Troubleshoot freight claims, routing issues, and service failures.
  • Collaborate with internal manufacturing and planning teams to ensure customer demand is met.

Sales Operations Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and channel performance updates.
  • Assist with trade shows, customer meetings, and new product launches.
  • Manage promotional calendars and customer program execution.
  • Help maintain CRM and customer databases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Service, Operations, Production, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and external partners.
  • Drive process improvements and develop scalable systems to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–7 years of experience in:
  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Food & beverage
  • Supplements
  • Retail operations
  • Supply chain or customer operations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
