Job description:

In search of a Social Media Manager to be the key online voice in leading strategy, management, and measurement of social media engagement efforts. Successful candidates will bring deep understanding in social media and communications. This position requires a creative expert who can easily navigate between strategy and execution of campaigns.

Responsible for:

- Becoming the key online voice across all social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and SnapChat.

- Developing and implementing organic and paid social efforts and integrating them into the overall marketing strategy.

- Maintain a calendar of proactive communication along with monitoring and managing conversation as it develops

- Utilizing social best practices, create interactive social content on a daily basis with branding and company message.

- Responsible for engaging customers, prospective customers and industry influencers on a day-to-day basis as well as long term.

- Act as the point person in communication regarding upcoming events and other newsworthy social media opportunities

- Utilizing analytics and a thorough understanding of social listening, the Social Media Manager will monitor, listen and respond to users on social while cultivating new leads, sales and brand awareness.

Must Haves:

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant proven experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media strategy

- Passion for social media with extensive knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, Tumbler, blogging and mobile applications

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task

- Must be able to communicate variety of information concisely and clearly and in a conversational manner

- Knowledge of SEO and integration of social media into mobile and .com initiatives

Hours: 40 hrs. M-F 9am-5:30pm
