This mug cake was made using one of the newest Freedom Flavors that NutraBio recently launched and it is amazing!! It's called "Freedom Fetti" and it's a funnel cake/cake batter flavor! Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
- For the batter:
- 1/2 scoop of NutraBio Freedom Fetti Muscle Matrix protein
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 tbsp coconut flour
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- For the icing:
- 1 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 scoop NutraBio Freedom Fetti Muscle Matrix protein
- Optional: Sprinkles
Directions:
- Mix all the cake ingredients in a small bow. Then, spray a different, microwave safe, bowl or mug with non-stick cooking spray and transfer the batter to this bowl.
- Microwave the cake for 90 seconds, watching for overflow. If the cake starts to bubble over stop the microwave and cook 3-5 second intervals until finished
- Once the cake is finished, mix your icing ingredients (except for the sprinkles) in a small bowl. Top the cake with the icing and then add sprinkles!
- Enjoy!
