Tim Santiago is a lifelong athlete and has never lost focus of that. Being in his 40's he never used age to stop him, in fact he used it to challenge himself. This journey began when he visited a Men's Physique competition at the Olympia with a friend. His friend said that he thought Tim could compete with the best of the best and that he should start competing.
Within a year, on his 40th Birthday, he did just that and placed 2nd. After that show, he competed again and placed 1st. At his third show, he competed at the National level at Team Universe in New Jersey. That's where he won his Pro Card. Within that time he never lost that focus.
In fact, that focus was the fuel that pushed him to open his own personal training facility called Athleta Fitness Studio. Throughout this journey, he has used his experiences as a platform to help others.
Winning the Puerto Rico Pro is such a huge achievement in his career and he is happy to share this with all of Team Tim. He teaches his clients that we all have an athlete within us, we just have to remember how strong we truly are.
