“Without compromise” has never been just a slogan; it’s a way of life both in the gym, and out. It is a reminder to live up to a higher standard; to put in the hard work, no matter what obstacles you face. NutraBio CEO & Founder, Mark Glazier, started this Live Your Passion project with the goal of giving back to those who also live “without compromise”. For the Wheels of Steel Biker shirts, we are uniting with Backpacks for Life, a New Jersey based organization, that supports Army Veterans returning home from war.
Backpacks for Life (BFL) was founded in 2014 by Sgt. Brett D’Alessandro and Alexa Modero after Brett returned home from a 7-month long deployment in Afghanistan. Their organization provides backpacks filled with necessary essentials such as toiletries and supplies that are unavailable to Veterans living on the streets. In addition to the backpacks, BFL also offers a mentorship program that helps veterans reintegrate back into society after deployment.
Brett and Alexa align with our standard of living “without compromise” and we want to extend a helping hand. We will donate a portion of every Wheels of Steel T-Shirt sold on our website to BFL. In addition to donating money from our shirts, NutraBio will also donate items to include in the backpacks that are given out to the homeless and struggling veterans.
